Availity Essentials Introduction

Description: Join an Availity Essentials trainer to learn how to navigate in Essentials and how to complete an Eligibility & Benefits inquiry. The training will cover the following topics:

•           General Navigation

•           Manage My Organization

•           My Account

•           Payer Spaces

•           Payer List

•           Eligibility & Benefits

 

Authorization Tools

Description: Join an Availity Essentials trainer to learn how to use the authorization tools in Essentials. The training will cover the following applications:

  • Authorization Request
  • Authorization/Referral Inquiry
  • Authorization/Referral Dashboard

 

Claim Submission and EDI Reporting

Description: Join an Availity Essentials trainer to learn how to submit a claim.

The training will cover the following applications:

  • Claims & Encounters Professional claims
  • Facility claims
  • EDI Reporting

 

Claim Follow up and Remittance Advice

Description: Join an Availity Essentials trainer to learn how to follow up on the status of your claim.

The training will cover the following applications:

•           Claim Status

•           Correct a claim via Claim Status

•           Remittance Viewer

Enrolling for a provider webinar in the Availity Learning Center (ALC)     

  1. Log in to Availity Essentials.
  2. Select Help & Training > Get Trained.
  3. ALC opens in a new browser tab. If it does not, have the user check their browser settings to allow for pop-ups and redirects from apps.availity.com and availitylearning.learnupon.com.
  4. Select the Sessions tab.
  5. Select the View Course button next to the webinar.
  6. Select the Enroll button.
