Did you know that heat is the leading weather-related killer in the United States? Most heat-related deaths are preventable. This summer, Fidelis Care is sharing ways to stay safe and healthy in the heat and sun. Stay Protected Drink plenty of water. Don't wait until you are thirsty to drink. In the hot summer months, it is recommended that women drink about 11.5 cups of water per day, and men should drink around 15.5 cups per day. Wear sunscreen.
