Notice Regarding National Imaging Associates, Inc. (NIA) Authorization Submissions

Fidelis Care and National Imaging Associates, Inc. (NIA) are aware of an issue finding rendering providers’ group names when submitting an authorization. Our teams are working on a solution. In the interim, ordering providers are asked to enter the name of a radiologist at the imaging facility instead of the imaging facility’s name. In order to find the radiologist, providers should perform a search on RadMD’s Rendering Provider screen using the radiologist’s name, city, zip code, or tax ID. Please ensure the radiologist’s address matches the imaging facility’s address. Any provider from the facility can be selected and it should not impact the authorization or claim. As part of the resolution, Fidelis Care and NIA’s plan is to allow providers to enter requests under the group name.
