As previously announced, the delegation of prior authorizations for orthopedic surgical procedures and spinal surgical procedures to TurningPoint Healthcare Solutions, LLC has been delayed until further notice and is pending New York State (NYS) approval*.
In the interim, for services rendered on or after October 1, 2019, Prior Authorization will be required for orthopedic surgical procedures and spinal surgical procedures, for both inpatient and outpatient settings, through Fidelis Care’s Authorization Department via Provider Access Online (provider portal),

*When NYS approval is received, an updated message will be posted to announce the transition from Fidelis Care to TurningPoint Healthcare Solutions, LLC.
To help prepare for this upcoming transition, Fidelis Care and TurningPoint Healthcare Solutions, LLC welcomes providers to attend an educational webinar. Be sure to register for a TurningPoint Surgical Quality and Safety Management provider webinar session as listed below. You will only need to attend one of these educational sessions.
