Every year, members in our Medicaid Managed Care, Child Health Plus, Essential Plan, and HealthierLife (HARP) plans must renew their health coverage. During the COVID-19 public health emergency (PHE), NY State of Health has been automatically renewing coverage for members in those plans. Members will need to take action soon to renew their health insurance. Please contact Fidelis Care to learn more about the renewal process and any action you may need to take.

Medicare Advantage members do not have a renewal process each year. However, you can choose to change your Medicare Advantage coverage between October 15 and December 7 (Annual Election Period) for coverage effective on January 1 of the following year.
If you have Fidelis Care Dual Advantage health coverage, and you are enrolled in the New York State Medicaid Program, you must renew the Medicaid portion of your coverage once per year. You will receive a notice in the mail that will tell you everything you need to know about renewing your coverage.
