Fidelis Care implemented a new opioid prior authorization requirement, which began on May 1, 2018. The requirement applies to Medicaid Managed Care, Child Health Plus, and HealthierLife (HARP) members who are newly enrolled or are new to opioid treatments, for prescriptions that exceed 90 morphine milligram equivalents (MME) per day.
