Fidelis Care, as a Medicaid Managed Care plan, is required by Federal and State regulations to monitor and ensure the quality of services offered by contracted network providers for behavioral health (BH - mental health and substance use disorder) services. Also, Fidelis Care must offer training to providers in clinical core competencies and evidence-based practices.
This slide deck provides detailed information on upcoming training in early summer on Uniform Clinical Network Provider Training. The training is offered by MCTAC (Managed Care Technical Assistance Center of New York) and CTAC (Community Technical Assistance Center of New York).
- State-of-the-art web-based training for BH providers:
- Outpatient child serving clinics
- Children and Family Treatment and Support Services (CFTSS)
- Children’s Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS)
- Voluntary Foster Care Agencies (VFCA)
- For network providers participating in Medicaid Managed Care plans
- Avoids the unnecessary duplication of training for multiple managed care plans
- Training resources are free of charge!
