In response to the Executive Order declaring a Statewide Disaster Emergency due to current healthcare staffing shortages in the State of New York issued on September 27, 2021, and the release of NYS Department of Financial Services Insurance Circular Letter No. 9 issued October 7, 2021: Fidelis Care is compliant and will process attestations/ certifications requesting the suspension of certain authorization documentation requirements is needed to increase the availability of health care staff at the designated hospital facilities.
