New York State COVID-19 Executive Order Declaring Disaster Emergency Expires

The state disaster emergency in response to COVID-19 and the SARS-CoV-2 variant declared in Executive Order 11.9, expired on September 12, 2022.

Executive Order 11 was executed on November 26, 2021, and subsequent orders, ending with Executive Order 11.9, extended the state of emergency through September 12, 2022.  The suspensions and modifications of law contained in Executive Order 11 and its successors are no longer in effect.
