• Expands access to care for individuals with limited resources

AIM Independent Living Center - Steuben County

• Who they are: AIM Independent Living Center provides services to people with disabilities and others with unmet needs.
• What the grant supports: Expanded cold storage facilities at the food pantry in Elmira and food delivery to residents in Chemung, Steuben, and Schuyler counties.

Cornell Cooperative Extension - Broome County

• Who they are: Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome County works to strengthen communities through education and outreach.
• What the grant supports: Additional funding helps the SNAP Ed Fruit and Vegetable Prescription initiative provide fruit and vegetable coupons to individuals referred by healthcare providers.

Cornell Cooperative Extension - Steuben County

• Who they are: Cornell Cooperative Extension of Steuben County delivers education programs focused on agriculture, nutrition, health, youth development, and community well-being.
• What the grant supports: Expansion of the Veggie Van program, which brings fresh produce directly to vulnerable residents in rural areas.

Dutchess Outreach - Dutchess County

• Who they are: Dutchess Outreach is the largest food security organization in Dutchess County and serves thousands of residents each year.
• What the grant supports: A mobile food pantry in partnership with Sun River Health that serves households in the town of Armenia, increasing access to nutritious food in a rural community.

Genesee Orleans Ministry of Concern - Orleans County

• Who they are: Genesee Orleans Ministry of Concern supports individuals and families with essential needs such as food, hygiene supplies, utilities assistance, and emergency support.
• What the grant supports: The creation of hygiene and nonperishable food closets within local school districts to better support children and families.

Literacy West NY, Inc. - Allegany County

• Who they are: Literacy West NY offers education and outreach programs that support adult learning and health literacy in rural communities.
• What the grant supports: The launch of a health literacy program to help adults better understand healthcare systems, preventive care, and healthy living.

Norfolk Raymondville Food Pantry - St. Lawrence County

• Who they are: The Norfolk Raymondville Food Pantry provides monthly food distributions and emergency assistance to families in the Norwood, Norfolk, and Raymondville communities.
• What the grant supports: The purchase of food and supplies through the Food Bank of Central New York, helping ensure reliable access for residents in need.

Restoration Society, Inc. - Genesee County

• Who they are: Restoration Society is a peer-led organization supporting mental health recovery in Western New York.
• What the grant supports: Digital skills training to help participants in rural communities access telehealth services, navigate healthcare resources, and connect to transportation options for medical appointments and employment.
