Do you need a flu shot?

Everyone over the age of 6 months should have a flu shot every year. It is especially important for:

  • Children under 5
  • Seniors over 65
  • People with certain health conditions, including asthma, diabetes, heart disease, lung disease, HIV/AIDS, and cancer
  • Caregivers

When should you have a flu shot?

You can have a flu shot any time during flu season. Flu season can last from October to May. Getting your shot earlier in the season gives you more protection.

How can you get a flu shot?
