Northwell Health Coverage Update for Fidelis Care Members

Northwell Health remains in the Fidelis Care network through:

  • July 15, 2026, for Fidelis Care’s Medicaid, Child Health Plus, Essential Plan, HARP, MLTC, Medicare (also known as Wellcare By Fidelis Care), and Marketplace (also known as Ambetter from Fidelis Care) plans.
  • June 30, 2026, for Wellcare's Medicare HMO, PPO, and PFFS plans.

We know you may have questions about your care. Our teams are here to support you and provide help every step of the way.

You can continue seeing Northwell providers until the termination date relevant to your plan. If you are seeing Northwell doctors, we encourage you to review your care options now. Those options can include finding a new provider or changing to a different health insurance plan that has Northwell providers in its network.

If you are enrolled in the Essential Plan or a Qualified Health Plan through NY State of Health, you can only request a plan change after the cooling-off period ends (July 15, 2026, for this transition). Requests submitted before that date will not be approved by the state.
