To view the formulary search tool for your specific Wellcare By Fidelis Care plan, visit our Prescription Drug Information page and select the Prescription Drug Formularies accordion.
How to Use the Drug Search Tool
Our drug search tool gives you quick access to information about covered drugs. You can search using any of the following methods:
- Drug name: Enter the name of your drug in the brand and generic drug search box.
- Alphabetical search: Select the first letter of your drug name.
- Therapeutic class search: Select a drug class to find drugs grouped by the type of condition they treat.
What Your Search Results Include
Your search results will display:
- Brand name drugs, shown in capital letters, and generic drugs, shown in lowercase italics.
- Therapeutic class and subclass, which identify groups of similar drugs used to treat the same condition.
- Dosage and strength.
- Tier status.
- Notes and restrictions, such as quantity limits or prior authorization requirements.
- Formulary alternatives, which are similar drugs covered by the List of Drugs.
