The Federal Government has announced that the Public Health Emergency (PHE) due to COVID-19, will expire on May 11, 2023. Once the PHE ends, the pre-PHE minimum billing standards and documentation requirements will be fully reinstated.
Beginning May 12, 2023, providers will be required to resume appropriate service provisions for billing purposes and documentation activities. In addition, PHE related cost share and prior authorization waivers will no longer be in effect.
Fidelis Care is working diligently to ensure the necessary changes are in place to restore our policies and procedures to pre-PHE status.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your Provider Relations Specialist. If you need to find your designated Specialist please visit: Contact Your Designated Provider Relations Specialist.
