Addressing Food Insecurity in Upstate NY
“Food insecurity is an issue facing every community,” said Jennifer Lyons, Director, Sales and Marketing.
“The Webster Town Recreation Center supports many seniors and families, and is such an important resource to the community. They are great partners, rolling up their sleeves and helping us pack all of this food. We are grateful to the center for their support and for the opportunity to get healthy food into the hands of people who need it.”
Since its debut in August 2022, Veggies to Go has provided more than 23,000 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables across New York State.
