To support more frequent and meaningful collaboration, we’re excited to introduce the Provider Advisory Community—a new online forum designed specifically for providers. What Is the Provider Advisory Community? To help vulnerable individuals who struggle with extreme heat, NY State of Health is again offering free air conditioners through its Essential Plan Cooling Program. The program runs from April 15, 2026, to August 31, 2026, or until supplies run out. During the summer, patients living in excessive heat have a higher risk of death and hospitalization from chronic conditions. By having A/C units installed in their homes, the program can improve health outcomes and prevent emergency visits and hospitalizations. Please notify your patients currently enrolled in the Essential Plan that they may be eligible if they have one of these health conditions:

Our annual provider satisfaction survey will launch this month and we hope you’ll take a moment to share your feedback.  This survey serves as the foundation for key improvement initiatives that we undertake each year, and your feedback is critical to making sure we address the issues that are important to you.  We look forward to learning about how we can continue to improve your experience in doing business with us. Fidelis Care is pleased to announce a new addition to the Provider Manual—the Quality Policy. The policy seeks to set forth the core quality requirements for any provider contracted with Fidelis Care. Those requirements include 1) a minimum Medicare Stars rating of 2.5 or higher, 2) ensuring that at least 50% of the Medicaid HEDIS measures perform at the 75th percentile or higher, 3) 100% medical record submissions for HEDIS & Risk Adjustment purposes, and 4) adherence to digital methods of records submission, or allowing remote access when otherwise not covered.
