Fidelis Care awarded a maternal health grant to The Birthing Place Foundation in the Bronx, NY in recognition of Maternal Health Awareness Day. The grant will support The Birthing Place Foundation’s ongoing efforts in maternal health – particularly to help underserved, lower-income women and their families.

LONG ISLAND CITY, NY (August 28, 2025) Fidelis Care, a statewide health plan with more than 2.4 million members in New York State and a Centene Corporation company, has awarded $130,000 in maternal health grants to seven healthcare providers and community-based organizations statewide. The grants aim to fund programs that support innovative strategies in postpartum care and maternal mental health in underserved and vulnerable communities.

Fidelis Care will host two Provider Office Hours in September 2025. During the webinars, Fidelis Care staff will be available to share information, provide an overview of provider resources, and answer your questions.
