Fidelis Care has updated the clinical policy for Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) FC.BH.301.04 and the ABA authorization form. You can find the updated policy at: https://www.fideliscare.org/Provider/Provider-Policies.

The updates to the Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Policy include, but are not limited to:

• Updates to the Applied Behavioral Analysis Treatment Report (authorization form)
• Required assessments based on specific member goals
• Frequency of reviews increased to every three (3) months for children 13 years old and older or for those who have not met their goals in a 2-year period
• Fidelis Care will no longer be authorizing newly initiated services in a school setting for children over age 6

These policy changes will take effect March 15, 2023 for all ABA providers in the Fidelis Care network.
