The Alex House Project would like to take a moment to highlight the impact of our partnership with Fidelis Care during Black History Month, and the visible results of this partnership in the lives of the low-income young parents we serve. Most of our population at TAHP are young Black mothers who come from some of the most underserved demographics in New York City, and who find themselves facing a host of unknowns as they begin their parenting journey. The Fort Drum Regional Health Planning Organization (FDRHPO) has successfully completed its one-year pediatric oral health pilot program, funded by a Fidelis Care rural health innovation grant focused on preventive care. The initiative, launched to address persistent barriers to pediatric dental care in the North Country, resulted in substantial increases in preventive oral health services and education.

If you or someone you love has chest pain, going to the emergency room can feel scary. Knowing what will happen can help you feel safer. When you arrive, the doctors and nurses will work fast to check your heart. 1. Quick Check When You Arrive A nurse will ask how you feel and how bad the pain is. LONG ISLAND CITY, NY (March 17, 2026) Fidelis Care, a statewide health plan with more than 2.4 million members in New York State and a Centene Corporation company, is pleased to highlight the updated income guidelines for the Essential Plan through NY State of Health, adjusted to reflect changes in the federal poverty level. The federal poverty level determines income eligibility for public health insurance programs in New York State, including the Essential Plan.
