Johns' Story

John’s story is one of resilience - and of the relationships that make a difference. Over four years, he and his Care Manager, Cara Batt, have worked side by side through complex medical challenges related to hemophilia and, most recently, recovery from a workplace accident. Turning 65 and moving to the Wellcare by Fidelis Dual plan brought additional support and resources that help him stay on track.  Above all, John stays positive and engaged, advocating for his health and championing the value of coordinated care.

Barbara's Story

After giving birth, Barbara struggled with persistent symptoms like brain fog and migraines. Following a job change, she enrolled in Fidelis Care—an important decision that led to a second opinion and a diagnosis of prolactinoma. With the right treatment, her symptoms began to improve. Fidelis Care representative Christiana provided ongoing support and guidance, helping Barbara navigate her insurance coverage. Today, Barbara is thriving and grateful for the compassion that helped her reclaim her life.

Alexis's Story

Growing up with cystic fibrosis and other health challenges has profoundly shaped Alexis from a young age. Living in a rural community adds another layer of difficulty. Alexis continues to maintain a positive outlook and has drawn strength from the support of her dedicated Senior Care Manager,
Jan Bass. Jan played a crucial role in helping Alexis access treatments closer to home and connecting her with the essential resources she needed.

After years of struggling due to substance use disorder, Roberto formed a trusting relationship with Senior Care Manager, Lauren Keeley, and received the support, understanding, and motivation he needed to make significant changes in his life.

Yvette's Story

Yvette has struggled with health challenges most of her life, and she has undergone multiple surgeries as a result. Yvette enrolled in the Wellcare by Fidelis Care Medicaid Advantage Plus Plan to better manage her care. With the help of Senior Care Manager Harpreet Kaur, RN, Yvette continues to feel supported.
