The food donations will benefit People to People, a community food pantry that serves Rockland County’s most vulnerable populations, including families, seniors and veterans.

The federal poverty level determines income eligibility for public health insurance programs in New York State, including Child Health Plus.

The grants are aimed at supporting healthcare providers and community-based organizations that imagine and create innovative solutions to increase preventive care in rural communities across New York State. The grants aim to fund programs that support innovative strategies in postpartum care and maternal mental health in underserved and vulnerable communities.
