Fidelis Care Hosts Free Unity Festivals Across New York State this Summer

To promote community health and wellness and the importance of staying connected with friends and neighbors, Fidelis Care has announced dates for its annual Unity street festival series. Beginning with the original “Unity in the Heights” event in 2011, the series has expanded across the state with a variety of local partners.
The events offer free and fun family activities including live music, face painting, health screenings, and giveaways. Special appearances by Fidelis Care’s popular dinosaur mascot, Fidelisaurus, promote the importance of health insurance for children and families as well as regular checkups, exercise, and healthy eating.
Here are some of the Unity events across New York State with more to be added:
- Together in Harlem – Saturday, June 21
- Unity in Troy – Sunday, June 22
- Unity in Westchester – Saturday, June 28
- Unity in Glenn Falls – Wednesday, July 23
- Unity in Auburn – Friday, July 25
- Unity in Rockland – Friday, July 25
- Unity in Schenectady – Friday, August 15
- Unity in Niagara Falls – Saturday, August 23
- Unity in Queens – Saturday, August 23
- Unity in The Heights – Saturday, September 6
- Unity in Buffalo – Saturday, October 4
