In 2026, we honor the 100th anniversary of the very first Negro History Week, created in 1926 by historian Dr. Carter G. Woodson. This important week later grew into what we now call Black History Month. Dr. Woodson wanted to make sure that the achievements and stories of Black Americans were recognized, taught, and celebrated across the United States.

January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month. Cervical cancer affects thousands of Americans each year, but it’s something you can prevent. Stay healthy by: * Getting vaccinated * Having regular preventive tests or screenings * Practicing safe sex Preventive tests and screenings are offered at no additional cost to eligible Fidelis Care members.

Effective August 1, 2026, Fidelis Care will implement a Site of Care Optimization Program to promote cost-effective, high-quality care for members receiving infusion therapies enrolled in Essential Plans.

Fidelis Care will host four Provider Office Hours in July 2026. During the webinars, Fidelis Care staff will be available to share information, provide an overview of provider resources, and answer your questions.

As you may be aware, Section 12006 of the 21st Century Cures Act, along with CMS guidance, required states to implement Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for Personal Care Services by January 1, 2021, and for Home Health Care Services by January 1, 2023.
