The Essential Plan aims to bridge the gap for those who may not qualify for Medicaid Managed Care but still need access to quality, low-cost health insurance.

The grants – ranging from $10,000 to $20,000 – are intended to enhance the integration of behavioral health and primary care through innovative strategies. The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. EDT March 28, 2025.
