Fidelis Care is pleased to announce the opening of its newest Community Office at 95-01 63rd Drive in Rego Park, Queens. Conveniently located in a busy and diverse neighborhood near shopping, restaurants, and businesses, and with easy access to public transportation, the new office continues Fidelis Care’s more than 25-year commitment to serve local residents where they work and live.

Fidelis Care and Literacy Inc. launched Diversity through Literacy on June 19 highlighting Juneteenth, a holiday commemorating the emancipation of enslaved people in the United States.

Roughly 20 million Americans have a condition called Sleep Apnea, which interferes with their ability to get the benefits of restful sleep.  However, approximately 75% of these people may not even know that they have this condition. 

Cancer of the prostate is the second most common cancer in men.  The risk of developing prostate cancer increases with age, especially after the age of 65.  African-American men, and in men with close relatives with prostate cancer have an increased chance of having prostate cancer.

In recognition of National Women’s Checkup Day on Monday, May 10, Fidelis Care is encouraging women of all ages to make their health a priority and schedule an appointment for their annual checkup with their primary care provider.
