I cherish being a social worker. It has helped me become a better person who is more patient and resilient. I started in the social work profession as an HIV caseworker at an organization that assisted the immigrant population. My role involved addressing barriers to healthcare access. I then transitioned into the role of a medical social worker at a community health center. This experience allowed me to work with patients across different age groups, including children, adults, and the elderly.

Social work is a calling for me, rather than a job. During this Social Work Month, I take great pride in discussing a career path that has helped so many others. I have been a medical social worker for over 35 years, the last eight here at Fidelis Care. I currently support the medically fragile children’s team. I also get tremendous satisfaction from researching and presenting my findings on various social work topics to my peers.

Fidelis Care hosts webinars called “Provider Office Hours” several times each month to share information and answer any of your questions. 

Provider Satisfaction Survey

Your provision of quality care and services to our members contributes greatly to Fidelis Care’s success. One of the ways Fidelis Care prioritizes quality is making sure you are satisfied with your experiences. Our annual Provider Satisfaction Survey identifies areas to focus on for further improvement in the coming year. The Provider Relations Department works diligently to identify an action plan to address areas of improvement, while continuing to develop actions and interventions to improve the provider experience.

HEDIS® Measurement Year 2025 Toolkit

HEDIS® is a tool used by more than 90% of America’s health plans to measure performance on important dimensions of care and service. We've developed this toolkit to help identify required preventive services.
